For the 30th anniversary of Hubble Space Telescope, the Heaven's Carousel 2020 is again in great demand. But due to pandemic it could not be presented as planned neither in Brisbane (Australia) nor in New York (USA).
The kinetic sound sculpture not only allows for a large number of visitors, but the risk of infection is minimal due to the presentation in the outdoor area. The Department of Culture in Offenburg is setting an example by having the carousel rotate every evening from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. for two weeks at the end of the Cultural Summer 2020 on the Platz der Verfassungsfreunde [ger. Place of the Friends of the Constitution].

From September 5th to 20th, the sound ufo will make a stopover and allow the people from the Ortenau region, but also guests from beyond, to enjoy art without risk - admission is free! For the presentation in his Black Forest heimat, Tim Otto Roth has composed new pieces especially for the event, which this time also bring out the rhythmic component of the carousel. On the spacious Platz der Verfassungsfreunde, Tim Otto Roth's kinetic sound sculpture corresponds with the 20-meter-high aluminum sculpture "Freedom - male/female" by American artist Jonathan Borofsky, donated by Aenne Burda.
